  • Rescue™ 3 Lightweight Thin Red Line by Spyderco

Spyderco Rescue™ 3 Lightweight Thin Red Line

Created as a tribute to our nation's courageous firefighters, Spyderco's "Thin Red Line" knives are distinctive expressions of our workhorse lightweight models. Their defining feature is their unique handle design, which showcases black fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales accented by a bright red lining and a matching red backspacer. This color theme symbolizes the "thin red line" first responders represent between the normalcy of our daily world and the chaos of life-threatening emergencies. The VG-10 blade of this Rescue 3 Lightweight also combines the enhanced edge geometry of a full-flat grind with the voracious cutting power of Spyderco serrations. To honor the selfless service of first responders, every blade is proudly laser engraved with the motto "Save and Serve." All other features of these elite knives are consistent with the standard version of this model, including a reliable back lock mechanism, skeletonized stainless steel liners, four-position pocket clip, and Bi-Directional Texturing. • Rescue™ 3 Lightweight Thin Blue Line by Spyderco

Spyderco Rescue™ 3 Lightweight Thin Blue Line

The "Thin Blue Line" is a symbolic reference to the role of law enforcement as the barrier that prevents society from descending into violent chaos. To honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's police officers, Spyderco created the "Thin Blue Line" series, which showcases this unique Rescue 3 Lightweight. The tough, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales of this knife are injection molded in black accented by a bright blue lining. When assembled with a matching blue FRN backspacer it creates a compelling visual metaphor for the "thin blue line." Unlike the standard expression of this model, the VG-10 stainless steel blade combines the low-friction edge geometry of a full-flat grind with the extreme cutting power of Spyderco serrations. It is also laser engraved with the motto "To Serve and Protect" to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement professionals. A portion of all sales of these knives will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which honors firefighter Stephen Siller's sacrifice of laying down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. • Endura® 4 FRN Zome Green by Spyderco

Spyderco Endura® 4 FRN Zome Green

C10ZFPGR Zome Endura® 4 Lightweight Green This unique expression of the Endura 4 Lightweight combines all the features of this best-selling model with a multi-colored hand-dyed “zome” handle. Zome (pronounced "zoh-may") is a class of Japanese handicrafts that focuses on dyeing textiles. This ancient art form includes many different methods of creating patterns on cloth using dyes derived from plants, flowers, fruit, and other natural sources and is closely related to many aspects of Japanese history and culture. Inspired by this rich artistic heritage, Spyderco's Zome knives are unique variations of our lightweight models, which feature injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handles. The handles are molded in a light base color and then individually hand dyed by expert Japanese artisans. Using a technique reminiscent of traditional hiki-zome (brush dyeing), various colors of dye are hand brushed onto the handle to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind patterns. Like Japan's classical dyeing methods, the special dyes used completely permeate the FRN to permanently color it. This Endura 4 Lightweight boasts all the defining features of its breed, including a full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade, a sturdy back lock mechanism, skeletonized stainless steel liners, and a four-position pocket clip. Its injection-molded FRN handle showcases a brilliant hand-dyed zome pattern in shades of green. If you’re looking for a reliable workhorse knife with one-of-a-kind character, this is it.

  • Endura® 4 FRN K390 by Spyderco

    Spyderco Endura® 4 FRN K390

In 1990 Spyderco shook things up by introducing two knives, the Delica and Endura. First of their kind on the market, both folders opened up the knife market to lightweight performance, one-hand open pocketknives that just about everyone could afford. They settled as our top two bestsellers and their improvement hasn't slowed since. We've always taken great pride in our efforts to push the envelope of performance by offering exotic blade steels in our knives. With that spirit in mind, we are proud to offer the Endura 4 Lightweight with a blade crafted from K390. Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 MICROCLEAN® is a state-of-the-art cold work tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its advanced alloy mix was specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. Despite its toughness, its exceptionally fine, homogeneous microstructure also makes it readily machinable and easy to heat treat. Collectively, these qualities make K390 an outstanding blade material for true steel connoisseurs.

Whether it’s for survival, the great outdoors, or summer projects, the military inspired 0006 is the answer. Though it pays homage to the original ZT-9 with a steel guard, this full-tang beast is not a bayonet. Instead, this versatile ZT fits snugly in a durable Kydex sheath for travel. Named after its 6-inch blade, the 0006 uses CPM 3V, a tough tool steel that resists edge chipping during the hardest work tasks. While this non-stainless steel wasn’t designed for corrosion resistance, ZT added a clear Cerakote coating for greater durability. It’s a thick blade at 3/16 inches, but still plenty functional. The rounded profile fills the hand without being too big, and an olive G10 handle offers comfortable grip. Choke up on the aggressive jimping with or without gloves for greater control. When ZT makes a fixed blade, there’s nothing else like it. The 0006 is no exception.
