Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this handsome Ontario TAK 2 Fixed Blade is about 10 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 9.6 ounces. The handle is contoured, Stabilized Hardwood with finger guard and lanyard hole. This knife utilizes a full-tang, 4 14" Drop Point blade with a Flat Bevel grind and 3mm thickness. The blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with Black Zinc Phosphate finish. Note Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The knife is presented with a Leather Belt Sheath.
